I love exploring the world, enjoy both natural and man-made beauties. I believe in maintaining a to-do list because we all come with an expiry date, to make sure that we are satisfied with this life we should follow and take items off that to-do list with priority.
I also love to follow my passion which I luckily discovered few years ago, that is "The Web". I discovered code is my weapon to tackle at least few problems and probably the easiest way to start contributing to the world.

• Development and support for Dow Jones’ internal billing application – CIBS (Customer Inventory Billing System), which is used for multiple products owned by Dow Jones, primarily using C#, Web Serves, and SOAP.
• Fix bugs raised by the users on a monthly basis. Also responsible for SQL Query tuning and debugging as needed
• Working with inventory calculations and customized reports using Actuate Reporting tool.
• Enhancing DJ Newswires billing system with custom and new requirements.
• Build, test and enhance Web Services for billing application.

Backend Developer Intern

Charged.FM

• Improved the search functionality of the website Charged.fm by making the MySQL queries more flexible and making few functions in PHP which smartly handled the keywords. Hence, making it more accurate and smart so as to improve user experience.
• Connected the front-end HTML templates of client websites with the backend, so as the data on those templates is retrieved from database.
• Improved the sitemap of the website by making a script which can be run at regular intervals to extract and update all the URL’s from the website Charged.fm and generated a Sitemap.xml. Hence, can be easily uploaded to Google Webmaster for SEO and improve its web presence.

• Managed and lead couple of projects which involved developing custom reports, collection scripts and Graphical User Interface. Developed custom reports using XML, SQL Server 2005 views and JavaScript. Developed collection scripts in Delphi and GUI in C#.
